September 2010 Events

Dearborn-based handmade artist Design Turnpike is running a Facebook contest through September 30th. Click here to go directly to the online event. The prize is a custom map of any state made entirely from vintage license plates! Find out more here.

Design Turnpike creates unique art and maps from genuine expired license plates and can be seen at venues such as Greenfield Village, The Henry Ford, The MDEN and The Detroit Science Center.

October 2010 Events

After 15 years, local favorite band, Sunglasses After Dark are putting on a reunion to benefit the Dearborn Animal Shelter. It will take place October 2nd at the Dearborn Elks. For more info, please visit sadreunion.com.
